What is the difference between the Breville IQ Electric Kettle and the Smart Luxe Electric Kettle?
The Breville IQ Electric Kettle and Smart Kettle Luxe are very similar, but the Smart Kettle is a bit larger and has a matte black finish with a one piece machined chrome handle.
Do the kettles have different water temperatures for different types of tea?
They do! These kettles heat water quickly to your choice of five preset tea temperatures for green, white, oolong, black, and herbal teas: 175°F, 185°F, 195°F, 200°F, and 212°F
How long does it take for the kettles to heat up?
It's fast! Both kettles boil a full 1.7-1.8 liters of water in 6.5 minutes. That's enough water for six 10oz-cups of tea. Smaller quantities will heat even faster.
Do these kettles have a warranty?
Yes, both kettles have a one-year warranty from Breville.
What are the dimensions of both kettles?
The IQ Kettle's dimensions are: 7.5" x 9.5" x 11". The Smart Luxe kettle's dimensions are: 8.9" x 10.2" x 11.7"
